Eaves sheet
The eaves (also flock sheet , inlet sheet ) is a folded sheet metal strip on the eaves of the roof . It forms the transition from the under-roof , under- roofing or under-tensioning.
In some cases, it only forms a drip edge to protect the canopy cladding without protruding into the gutter .
It can fulfill the task of the gutter inlet plate or the drip plate .
Eaves sheet is mainly offered in four materials:
- Sheet steel , hot-dip galvanized
- copper
- aluminum
- Titanium zinc
The different materials have no influence on the functionality of the corresponding eaves sheet. The main difference is only in the reaction of the materials to the rain , keyword " oxidation ".
