Trayal

Trayal is a Serbian company with factories in the central Serbian town of Kruševac and its surroundings.

The company was founded in 1892 as a manufacturer of black powder . After the First World War, the company was expanded and the production of activated coke , gas masks, TNT, etc. a. chemical products included. In 1963 the production of tires and other rubber products began. In 1974 a new tire manufacturing plant was built in collaboration with French companies, with a capacity of 2 million tires per year. Trayal became the market leader in the region and exported all over the world, including Germany. In 2006 the state-owned company was privatized for the first time and sold to a Bulgarian company. In 2012 the company was sold to the tire group Cooper Tire & Grubbern Company. Trayal is one of the main employers in and around Kruševac.
