Driftball

Driftball is a dog sport developed by Jan Nijboer .

The training material consists of eight standard exercise balls in all sizes and a goal. The exercise balls are arranged in a triangle at a distance of at least 15-20 meters, similar to billiards , in front of a gate with a size of 2 × 3 meters. The tip of the ball triangle points away from the goal. The dog should all eight balls one after the other with Schnauzen- u. Use physical effort into the goal. He is supported by acoustic signals and hand gestures from the dog handler , who is within easy reach of one of the two goal posts. After the eighth ball has been driven into the goal, the dog and the owner complete the game with the dog down parallel to the goal.
