The Helipuerto de Algeciras is a transport helicopter landing pad in the port area of ​​the city of Algeciras in the south of the Spanish province of Cádiz in the autonomous region of Andalusia .

The helipad , which went into operation on July 1, 2010, has the ICAO code LEAG and is operated by the airport operator AENA .

The passenger terminal and the helipad are divided into two areas. The terminal is part of the existing port of Algeciras and the 2400 m² helipad was built as a platform 30 meters above the ground on the car park and is connected to the terminal by covered walkways.

The heliport is located around 500 meters from the Algeciras train and bus station. This heliport is the second in Spain to be built and operated by AENA . It is mainly used for scheduled flights to the Spanish city of Ceuta in North Africa .
