The Staircase on Park Street is an exterior staircase in the Scottish city ​​of Glasgow . In 1970 it was included as an individual monument in the Scottish monument lists, initially in category B. The upgrade to the highest monument category A took place in 1986. Furthermore, the building is part of a more comprehensive monument ensemble of category A.

The structure was completed in 1854. The total cost of this was £ 10,000. The Scottish architect Charles Wilson is responsible for the design .

It is a straight staircase with two steps. It connects the Park District to the north with Woodland Terrace . The monumentally designed structure consists of gray granite . At both ends and on the landings, the staircase has massive posts with square floor plans. They rest on embossed granite plinths . The stepped parapet is designed in the same way as the plinths. The design elements include cast iron lamp holders.
