The Treubund with God for King and Fatherland was a Prussian conservative association founded at the end of 1848 . Between 1850 and 1853 there was also a Treubund in Kurhessen .

The federal government represented the primacy of the monarchy and advocated a strong state . In addition, he represented the interests of the “revolutionary victims”. The organization was founded by Ferdinand Habel, who was secretary of the War Ministry. The organization received massive support from Friedrich von Wrangel . The federal government also received financial support from a secret fund of the Ministry of the Interior.

By mid-1849 there were 52 regional or local groups. In and around Berlin alone it had 10,000 members. By the beginning of 1850 another 40 groups were added. However, the organization split up after a short time into supporters of constitutionalism and absolutism and soon dissolved completely.

Even if the Treubund was not yet a modern party, it still represents a step on the way to a stronger organization of Prussian conservatism.
