Triangular Series in Bangladesh in the 2008 season

The Triangular Series in Bangladesh in the 2008 season (also Kitply Cup 2008 ) was a three-nation tournament that was held from June 8th to 14th, 2008 in Bangladesh in one-day cricket . In addition to the host, teams from India and Pakistan took part in the tournament, which was part of the 2008 international cricket season . In the final Pakistan was able to prevail against India with 25 runs.

prehistory

For all teams it was a preparation tournament for the Asia Cup 2008 .

format

In a preliminary round, each team played against each other once. There were four points for a win, two points for a draw or no result. Bonus points were also awarded. The first two of the group qualified for the final and played for the tournament victory.
