Chris Tomic

Chris Tomic (* 1978 ) is a German computer scientist , inventor and entrepreneur.

Life

After studying at Heinrich Heine University in Düsseldorf , he worked for Novadoc GmbH until 2001 and developed technologies for the Internet and mobile communications sectors . He developed the UCP protocol for sending the world's first mobile phone logos and monophonic ring tones in 1998.

As the managing director of Novadoc GmbH, he concentrated on the development of secure billing systems via mobile phones and payment via SMS short messages ( mobile payments ).

In 2001 he became Technical Director of Monstermob LTD in Great Britain.

Development of the company Monstermob LTD

In 2003 Monstermob LTD went public on the London Stock Exchange with a market capitalization of 32 million British pounds. The Spanish Internet company LaNetro Zed acquired the majority stake with a 53% share.

Through the acquisition LaNetro Zed and Monstermob Ltd. became the world's largest company in the sector Mobile value-added services ( value added services ). The company is active in 31 countries and employs a total of 1,200 people.
