Triathlon Grassau is a triathlon club founded in 2014 in Grassau im Chiemgau . The club emerged from the triathlon division of SG / katek / Grassau . The club's first men's team has been competing in the 1st Triathlon Bundesliga since 2015 .

The first men's team entered the Bavarian Triathlon League for the first time in 2010 (still as SG / katek / Grassau ) and immediately rose to first place in the fifth-class Landesliga Süd in the Bavarian League . After a renewed promotion the following year to the Bavarian regional league and in 2012 to the 2nd Bundesliga South , the Triathlon Grassau club was spun off in 2014 and, with a second place, promotion to the 1st Bundesliga. At the end of the 2015 season, the Kiwami Tri Team Grassau finished fourteenth, i.e. H. the penultimate place, almost relegation in the 1st Bundesliga.
The women's team took sixth place in the Bavarian League in 2015, in 2012 a women's team from SG / katek / Grassau had already started in the regional league and came in tenth at the end of the season. After advancing to third place in the Landesliga Süd in 2014, the second men's team made it through the march and again rose to first place in the Bayernliga.

Since 2013, the association has been organizing the Grassau Triathlon every year at Lake Reifinger See .
