Tricia Rayburn

Tricia Rayburn (* 1978 ), also known by her pseudonym TR Burns , is an American author .

Life

She attended Riverhead High School in New York until 1996 and then Middlebury University in Vermont . She received her Master of Arts in 2005 from Long Island University. Her first book, The Melting of Maggie Bean, was part of her graduation thesis for the master’s degree. Before becoming an author, she was a PR coordinator, administrative assistant and worked as a magazine editor. Rayburn lives on east Long Island . She has published several books in English, only the Sirens Trilogy books have been translated so far . Initially, the first book of the trilogy was published in German-speaking countries under the title Im Zauber der Sirenen , the second part, The Sound of the Sirens , was announced by Ullstein-Verlag, but was not produced due to the sales figures for the first volume. The publisher then adapted the title and design of the cover to the original and the entire series was finally published in 2012 and 2013 under the title Ocean Rose in German by Ullstein-Verlag .
