Tripoli Rocketry Association

The Tripoli Rocketry Association (TRA) is a worldwide professional association for high-power rocket flight , the majority of its members are based in the USA.

It was founded in 1964 and constituted as a US-wide association in 1987, with a focus on high-power missiles. Together with the National Association of Rocketry , she won a multi-year court case against the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives in 2009 , in which it was achieved that the fuel APCP is not classified as an explosive.

Tripoli has so-called prefectures as a subdivision, of which around 80 are in the United States, 11 in Europe, 8 in Canada and 4 in Australia as well as in Israel and Turkey.
