The Trix radio car is a model car from the 1970s with a built-in radio.

The Trix company produced a prototypical replica of the then popular, sporty, elegant BMW Coupe 2000 CS on a scale of 1:24. The special feature of this model car was the built-in transistor radio with a receiver for the medium wave range from 515 to 1620 kHz that was still common at the time .

The vehicle also had a built-in ferrite rod antenna and a battery compartment for the power supply (9 volts). The output power of the amplifier was probably rather weak at 150 mW. The controls such as station selection and volume control were installed on the underbody of the vehicle. According to the catalog, the unusual model cost DM 39.75 at the time and is now a collector's item.
