Tropical cyclone Bertha
The name Bertha was previously the name of six tropical cyclones in the Atlantic Ocean:
- Tropical Storm Bertha (1957) , a tropical storm that threatened areas previously devastated by Hurricane Audrey but caused little damage;
- Tropical Storm Bertha (1984) , a light tropical storm that formed in the central Atlantic and did not threaten any country;
- Hurricane Bertha (1990) , a Category 1 hurricane that struck the east coast of the United States and eventually dispersed over Nova Scotia;
- Hurricane Bertha (1996) , a major hurricane that crossed the Leeward Islands and eventually hit North Carolina;
- Tropical Storm Bertha (2002) , a minimal tropical storm that impacted Louisiana and later Texas;
- Hurricane Bertha (2008) , a long-lived Category 3 hurricane that impacted Bermuda.
