Trotsky Icepick

Trotsky Icepick was an American indie rock band from Los Angeles . It was active from the mid-1980s to 1993. During this time she released six albums on SST Records . Its members previously played in indie bands such as The Last , Urinals (100 Flowers), Middle Class and The Leaving Trains .

The name Trotsky Icepick referred to the Russian revolutionary leader Trotsky , who was killed with an ice pick by an assassin in 1940 .
