The Trysil / Engerdal Museum is a museum with several open-air museum locations around Trysil and Engerdal , Norway. Its oldest part, the Trysil Village Museum, was founded in 1901. Since 2010 the museum has been a division of the Hedmark Fylkesmuseum together with six other museums. The museum has its administrative headquarters in Trysil and takes care of around 100 historical buildings, its museum exhibits, its photo collection and its archive material.

The museum looks after the following locations as main attractions:

  • Trysil Bygdetun : A classic open-air museum with 21 buildings (farmhouses, outbuildings and alpine pastures) from the 17th to 20th centuries. The influence of Sweden and Østerdalen can be seen in the decorative painting of some buildings.
  • Blokkodden Villmarksmuseum at Drevsjø in Engerdal. An open-air museum on forest use from the 17th century until today. Charcoal burning, fishing, hunting and agriculture are shown.
  • The Støa kanal , a canal used for rafting logs to the sawmills in Karlstad, Sweden. The attraction of the canal is a water wheel-operated hoist, which was used to pull the logs from the Ljøra river to the higher level of Lake Flersjøen.
