A tsep-sa or Tibetan short sword is a weapon from Tibet.
description
The tsep-sa has a straight, single or double-edged blade. In single-edged versions, the blade becomes narrower from the handle to the location and usually has two small, narrow hollow grinds on the back of the blade. With double-edged versions, the blade is usually smooth. The handle is made of wood and / or metal and usually has a small, disc-shaped guard. A simple metal cap serves as a knob, or it is made from a cross-shaped piece of metal and decorated with decorative decoration. In some versions, the handle and the sheaths are decorated with ray skin or coral . The Tibetan Ke-Tri sword served as a model for the production . The tsep-sa is used by ethnic groups in Tibet.
