The Mount Taylor is a 3440  m high volcano near Albuquerque , New Mexico , USA ; It was last active over a million years ago.

It is both among the Diné (Navajo) (as Tsoodzil (meaning unknown), also Dootl'izhiidziil (probably Na-Dené language family for 'turquoise mountain'), sacred mountain of the south), and among the Acoma one of their sacred mountains ( sacred mountains ).
