The Tuanku Syed Putra Stadium or Stadium Utama Kangar is a multifunctional stadium in Kangar , Perlis , Malaysia . Mainly football matches are played in the stadium. The stadium has a capacity of 20,000 people and was opened in 1995. The Sukma Games 2014 , as well as some games of the Junior World Cup 1997, were held in the stadium; it serves as the home stadium of the Perlis FA . It used to be called Utama Negeri Stadium.
