John Blackburn Cloth Mill

The John Blackburn cloth factory was an important cloth factory in Berlin-Niederschöneweide .

It was taken over in 1869 by John Blackburn of Batley , Yorkshire . In 1897 Albert Müller took over the company. It called itself first John Blackburn's successor, then cloth factory Albert Müller, then cloth factory C. Müller, and from 1929 Hüttenwerke CW Kayser & Co. Niederschöneweide AG. During the GDR era, operations continued.

In 1901, the cloth factory and woolen mill drew 1,000 m³ of water a day from the Spree.
