The Tumaini University is a higher education institution in Tanzania with three locations: the Iringa University College (500 students) in Iringa in the south of the country, the Kilimanjaro Christian Medical College at Moshi and Makumira University College east of Arusha also in the north of the country.
history
It was founded in 1996 by the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Tanzania , but the Makumira University College had existed as a theology seminar since 1947. The KCMC has existed since 1971.
