TurboIMAGE

TurboIMAGE is a database system for the HP 3000 computer under the MPE operating system .

After the launch of the HP 3000 in 1974 , Image / 3000, later renamed TurboImage, most recently called TurboImage / SQL because of SQL compatibility, contributed significantly to the success of the HP 3000.

The database system consists of tables, called "details", which are accessed via "master". The special thing is the indexing via a hash function .

There is a query language Query / 3000, which can also be used to create simple reports.
