Mozenborn tower stump

The Mozenborn tower stump stands on the eastern edge of the Düren district of Birgel in the Düren district in North Rhine-Westphalia .

The ruins of the round tower are to the west of the Mozenborn house . These are the remains of the southeast corner tower of the old Mozenborn moated castle . Little is known about them. It was built in the 15th or 16th century. There are no records of the castle's demise. Only silted-up trenches and the stump of the round tower remain from it.

The building is registered under No. 4/005 in the list of monuments of the city of Düren.
