Tournament tree

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

A tournament tree is a special tournament schedule for sports tournaments and other competitions.

use

It is used to determine the opponents who will face each other in a tournament with a knockout system . It is only drawn or placed once at the beginning. But there are also tournaments in which a new lot is drawn after each round. When placing the participants, care is usually taken to ensure that the favorites do not meet at the beginning, if possible, but only in the final.
