Turrettini
Turrettini is the name of a wealthy patrician family from the Tuscan city of Lucca , whose evangelical members settled in Geneva for reasons of faith , including the following people:
- Francesco Turrettini (1547–1628), Italian evangelical refugee and Geneva silk merchant and manufacturer
- his son Bénédict Turrettini (1588–1631), a Reformed Swiss and Geneva theologian
- his son François Turrettini (1623–1687), Reformed Geneva theologian
- his son Jean-Alphonse Turrettini (1671–1737), Reformed Geneva theologian
- Auguste Turrettini (1818–1881), Swiss Greek philologist and Geneva State Councilor
- Théodore Turrettini (1845–1916), Swiss electrical engineer and politician
