Turrialba (Canton)
Turrialba is a canton in the Costa Rican province of Cartago with 73,064 inhabitants (2013). The canton was founded on August 25, 1903 and with 1657 square kilometers is one of the largest cantons in Costa Rica in terms of area . The canton takes up 52% of the total area of the province of Cartago.
