Typographia Societatis Bipontinae
The Typographia Societatis Bipontinae was the printing house in which editions of Latin and ancient Greek classics (so-called Editiones Bipontinae ) were produced since 1780 by the Zweibrücker publisher Societas Bipontinae .
After Zweibrücken was occupied by the French revolutionary army in 1793 and the printing works of the Societas Bipontina were plundered, book production was interrupted between 1795 and 1797. In 1798 the publishing house and printing company resumed their activities in Strasbourg (Latin: Argentoratum ) and continued until 1811.
