Tyrone Brunson (born January 29, 1985 in Philadelphia ), fighting name "Young Gun", is an American professional middleweight boxer, Mid-American champion and record holder for most first-round knockouts in a row.

As an amateur, Brunson only competed in youth tournaments and was able to win the Silver Gloves boxing tournament and the Pennsylvania State Golden Gloves .

In 2005 he became a professional and was able to win his first 19 fights prematurely by knockout in the first round, whereby he never had to stand in the ring for more than 135 seconds. He set Edwin Valero's record (18 first round knockouts in a row). He completed his shortest fight on August 20, 2005 against Terry Rork, when he won by knockout after only 17 seconds. It should be noted, however, that only one of these opponents could have a positive match record and that is James Morrow, against whom he won his Mid-American title on February 4, 2006. The other 18 opponents had the status of a development opponent, six of them even contested their first professional fight against Brunson.

On August 15, 2008, the spectacular knockout series came to an end when he boxed a draw against Antonio Soriano. In his next fight on October 2, 2009, he won against Marcos Primera to a unanimous point win, before winning against Jose Medina by knockout in round 3 on November 7 of the same year.

On December 4, 2009, he got into the ring against Carson Jones and suffered his first defeat when he was knocked out in round 3. More defeats followed, including against James De la Rosa, Tony Harrison and Dennis Hogan.

He celebrated his most important victory to date on June 24, 2017, when he knocked out former world champion Kermit Cintrón in the fifth round.
