The finals of the 1st U-19 Central Asian Championship took place from August 6th to 9th, 2016 in the Uzbek capital Tashkent . A total of six teams took part.

Attendees

All six national CAFA associations were eligible to participate in the final round . On August 5, 2016, the day before the first game, Iran withdrew from the competition. She was replaced by an Uzbek national B team.

Since Kyrgyzstan and the Uzbek B selection were both tied on points and goals and the direct duel ended in a draw, Kyrgyzstan was named the group winners due to the unofficial status of the latter.

Final round

Although the Uzbek B selection officially finished second in Group A and was therefore actually qualified for the game for 3rd place, Afghanistan was allowed for the game and Uzbekistan B for the game for 5th place due to the unofficial status of the team.

Suliman Khorami of Afghanistan was awarded the Golden Ball as the prize for the best player of the tournament .
