First steps
The history of the UHC Satus Zugerland goes back to shortly before the turn of the millennium, when the UHC Satus Zugerland (called Satus Zug until 1997, then Satus Zug-Baar in 1998 and then UHC Satus Zugerland in the year of the merger) merged with the UHC Rainbow Cham in 1999 .
Voluntary descent
On February 8, 2016, the club announced that the NLB team will be relegated to the first division voluntarily. The association justified the decision mainly with the high organizational effort. The playout games against UHC Waldkirch-St. Gallen become obsolete. In addition, the team will be run as a farm team by Zug United in the future .
