UK Trade & Investment (UKTI), the UK government's business development agency, advises and assists UK companies in trading abroad (Trade) and foreign companies in investing in the UK (Investment).

UK Trade & Investment is based in London; the organization has offices and / or British consulates in around 200 countries around the world. In Germany, UK Trade & Investment has its own branches in the British Embassy in Berlin and the Consulates General in Düsseldorf and Munich. UK Trade & Investment employs around 2,300 people across the network. The annual budget for 2009/10 was £ 270 million

UK Trade & Investment brings together the tasks of the British Foreign & Commonwealth Office (FCO) and the British Department for Business, Enterprise and Regulatory Reform (BERR). UK Trade & Investment uses its own financing base, and funds are also available from both ministries.

UK Trade & Investment is the annual publication of the numbers of foreign direct investment in the United Kingdom responsible.
