UNIFFAC Cup

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The UNIFFAC Cup ( German  Central African Championship ) was a football competition for the national teams of the eight countries of Central Africa ( Equatorial Guinea , DR Congo , Gabon , Cameroon , Republic of the Congo , São Tomé and Príncipe , Chad and the Central African Republic ), which was held in 1999 for the only time so far organized by UNIFFAC . It is not to be confused with the CEMAC Cup for the six countries of the CEMAC , to which the DR Congo and São Tomé and Príncipe do not belong. Due to a lack of interest, the competition has not been played since then. However, since 2008 there have been three tournaments as a youth competition for U-17 teams.
