Environmental partnership Hamburg
The Environmental Partnership Hamburg (UPHH) was founded in 2003 as an alliance for voluntary corporate environmental and climate protection in Hamburg companies and today comprises more than 1000 companies. The sponsors are the Hamburg Senate (represented by the Environment and Energy Authority ) and the Hamburg economy (represented by the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce , the Hamburg Chamber of Crafts , the IVH - Industrieverband Hamburg eV and the Unternehmensverband Hafen Hamburg eV). The aim of the Hamburg Environment Partnership, which was extended for the second time in 2012 (for the period 2013 to 2018), is to promote sustainable and resource-efficient management in Hamburg companies. To this end, it offers numerous programs and services such as the company funding program for resource protection around the issues of resource efficiency and systematic environmental protection . There are also environmental and sustainability partnerships in other federal states, for example the Bavarian Environmental Pact .
