USS Mason

Three United States Navy ships were named USS Mason , the first after John Y. Mason , the second after Ensign Newton Henry Mason , the third in honor of the accomplishments of the second:

USS Mason (DD-191) , Clemson-class destroyer , in service from 1920-1940
USS Mason (DE-529) , Evarts-class destroyer escort , in service 1944-1945

USS Mason (DDG-87) , Arleigh Burke-class destroyer , in service since 2003
