The USS Randolph

The US aircraft carrier USS Randolph (CV-15) was an Essex-class aircraft carrier . It was in service from 1944 to 1969 and was scrapped in 1975.

history

The ship was on 9 October 1944 as a seventh aircraft carrier of the Essex class put into service.

On February 13, 1969, the ship was decommissioned and assigned to the reserve . The final decommissioning took place on June 1, 1973. In 1975 the ship was scrapped.
