Ugly Casanova is an American indie rock band under the Sub Pop Records label . According to the band's website, the songs on the only album Sharpen Your Teeth to date are the work of a certain Edgar Grahams, who introduced himself to initiator Isaac Brock at a concert by his band Modest Mouse in Denver. Although Edgar Grahams is said to have made a mentally unstable impression, there was an exchange of demo tapes of his music in raw version to Brock and small appearances before Modest Mouse concerts, before he disappeared from the scene without a trace.
Furthermore, there are rumors that Edgar Grahams was an invention of Brock, which "has existed for a long time and shouldn't bring him in connection with the band" in order to save interviews etc.
