from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Hubben watch museum is a private family business and is located in Vluyn , a district of the Lower Rhine town of Neukirchen-Vluyn . It was founded in 1896 as a watchmaker's shop in the neighboring town of Rheurdt and has always been run by the fourth generation of the Rebbelmund family.

The exhibition is maintained by master watchmaker Margarethe Rebbelmund and documents a variety of historical, modern and unusual watches . A number of the workbenches and instruments typical of a watchmaker of the time are also presented. Special features among the exhibits are a large tower clock from Seville from 1868 and a clock with iron plates from 1715.
