Watch bearer is the name for a historical occupation of a trader who carried Black Forest clocks on backpacks or hats to areas that were sometimes far away.

history

From the glass wearers of the Black Forest, with the production of watches, the profession of watch wearer developed.

The glass wearers achieved great fame primarily through advertising in the 1950s and 1960s, with interest in watch wearers especially for tourism being revived.
