Gjakova clock tower

The clock tower of Gjakova ( Albanian  Kulla e Sahatit e Gjakovës or Kulla e Sahatit for short , sometimes Sahat-Kulla ) was built in 1597 shortly after the construction of the nearby Hadum Mosque . In 2009 the city administration had it completely renovated. It is located in the center of the old town near the historical bazaar (alb. Çarshia e vjetër ) of Gjakova .
