Edmund Beale Sargant

Edmund Beale Sargant ( 1855 - 1938 ) was a British colonial official in South Africa . In 1908, under the title Report on Native Education in South Africa, he presented the so-called Sargant Report , which had a major impact on school education in the Transvaal . He also wrote poems that Edward Marsh took in his collection Georgian Poetry 1911-12 (1912).
