Ulli Arnold

Ulli Arnold (born October 17, 1944 in Munderkingen ) is a German business economist.

Life

Arnold studied business administration and commercial teaching from 1967 to 1970 at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg . He graduated with a degree in business administration and with the final examination in business education. From 1971 to 1976 he was a research assistant at the seminar for business market theory at the University of Göttingen with Hans Knoblich . During this time he received his doctorate in 1974 (Dr. rer. Pol.). 1981 followed the habilitation for business administration also in Göttingen .

After teaching for three years as a private lecturer, in 1984 he was appointed professor of business administration, sales and procurement / marketing at the Kassel University . From 1988 to 1992 he was professor for business administration, sales and consumer economics at the University of Würzburg . From 1992 to 2012 he was Professor of Business Administration, Capital Goods Marketing and Procurement Management at the University of Stuttgart and from 2002 to 2006 Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences. Since the mid-1980s, he has also held several teaching positions at the Universities of Lublin (Poland), Budapest (Hungary), Shanghai (China) and Strasbourg (France).

He is co-editor of the journals Marktforschung & Management (M&M), The Journal of Supply Chain Management , European Journal of Purchasing and Supply Management, Logistik Management, SOCIALmanagement, Galileu Revista de Economia e Direito, International Journal of Purchasing and Materials Management Logistik Management.
