Michael Essig

Michael Eziger (born June 22, 1968 in Sindelfingen ) is a German business economist . Since 2003 he has been Professor of Materials Management and Distribution and Vice President for Research at the University of the Federal Armed Forces in Munich .

Life

After studying business administration at the University of Passau , Eässig received his doctorate in 1998 at the Business Administration Institute of the University of Stuttgart and qualified as a professor there in 2002 with the work on pricing policy in networks with Ulli Arnold . He turned down a professorship for industrial management at the Wissenschaftliche Hochschule Lahr and took over the chair for general business administration, especially materials management and distribution - initially as a substitute and from 2003 as a full professor. He also has lectureships at the University of San Diego and the University of St. Gallen, among others . Ezig is a member of scientific committees and associations, including the Presidium of the German Defense Association (DWT).
