Ulrich Lau

Ulrich Lau is a German sinologist . His specialty is the legal history of early China.

Life

Ulrich Lau received his doctorate in 1981 from the Humboldt University of Berlin and completed his habilitation there in 1989 with a thesis on land allocation regulations at the time of the Western Zhou dynasty . He was a private lecturer at the University of Heidelberg and participated in numerous scientific projects.

Since 2011 he has been a private lecturer at the University of Hamburg .
