Ulrich Winkler (born March 6, 1985 ) is an Austrian football player . He is currently without a club.
Career
Winkler began his career in the youth team of SC Schwarz-Weiß Bregenz , where he joined the first team in 2003. Winkler made his debut in the Austrian Bundesliga on October 29, 2003 against SV Mattersburg when he came on for Axel Lawarée in the 90th minute . In 2005 he moved to SCR Altach , with Altach he rose from the second division to the Bundesliga. In January 2008, Winkler was deported from Vorarlberg and moved to FC Kärnten for six months , where he could not prevent relegation from the second to the third division. He has been under contract with FC Wacker Innsbruck since the beginning of the 2008/09 season .
With FC Wacker Innsbruck, Winkler was in the 2009/10 season two points ahead of FC Admira Wacker Mödling champion of the second-class Austrian first division and thus rose with the team in the Bundesliga. Before the start of the 2010/11 season , the 25-year-old switched to LASK Linz .
