The Ulsoor Lake or Halasuru Lake , according to the district Halasuru is an artificial water bodies in the city center Bangalore with several islands.

The lake is fed by three larger bodies of water polluted with sewage and therefore has an extremely poor water quality itself, although measures have been taken to improve the quality. Few fish species survive in the lake, which has a high concentration of blue-green algae.
