Uma2rman (Ума2рман) is a Russian rock band from Nizhny Novgorod . The name refers to the favorite actress of the two band members, Uma Thurman . They were nominated at the MTV Europe Music Awards 2005 in the category Best Russian Act , but had to admit defeat to Dima Bilan .
history
Uma2rman was founded in 2003 by the two brothers Sergei and Wladimir Kristowski. They became known with two great radio hits in Russia : Prostitsja ( Проститься ) and Ty daleko ( Ты далеко ) in 2004 and 2005, respectively, and the music for the film Watcher of the Night - Nochnoi Dozor .
