Umberto Colombo (athlete)

Umberto Colombo (* 1880 in Brembate di Sopra ; † unknown) was an Italian athlete .

Career

Colombo was a member of the Milanese sports club Mediolanum and specialized in the short running routes. In 1900 he was a member of the Italian team at the Summer Olympics in Paris and started over 100 meters and 400 meters . Over 100 meters he missed qualifying for the next lap as third in his heat, over 400 meters he was eliminated in fourth or fifth of his heat.

His personal best over 100 meters was 11.0 seconds, set in 1898.
