Umbra ( Latin umbra "[core] shadow") stands for:

  • the central shadow of a solar or lunar eclipse, see umbra
  • the Latin name of a genus of dogfish
  • special areas within sunspots, see penumbra (sunspots)
  • a pigment or its color, see umber (color)
  • a musical by BruAmac Production, which will premiere in Switzerland in September 2019
