Environmental advice
Environmental consulting is an advisory activity in the field of environmental protection , ecology and environmentally friendly action . The target group of the advice can be companies and public institutions as well as private individuals. In municipal facilities, there is often institutional environmental advice. In recent years, advice on energy issues has become a focus.
Regardless of the target group, environmental advisors and environmental advisory institutions are united in associations to represent their interests as a professional group.
Target groups
Private individuals
The aim of environmental advice for private individuals is to advise consumers on questions of private consumption with regard to the effects on the environment and health. In some cases, there is cooperation with consumer advice centers.
Companies and public institutions
Environmental consulting is particularly important for companies and public institutions that want to set up or have already set up an environmental management system in accordance with ISO 14001 or the European Environmental Management and Auditing Scheme ( EMAS regulation ) or EMASeasy and therefore have to submit an environmental statement .
