Districts of South Matabeleland

Umzingwane is a district in the Matabeleland South Province in Zimbabwe .

The district, traversed by the Umzingwane or Umzingwani River, includes semi-arid areas in which cattle is practiced almost exclusively, with its center in West Nicholson . The river has the function of a nationwide cattle trough, so to speak. In a mine in Sansukwe ( 21 ° 30 '  S , 28 ° 22'  O ) diamonds by the Canadian Placer Dome promoted.
