Independent Christian-German Tyrolean working group

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Independent Christian-German Tyrolean Working Group was an electoral list that entered the state elections in Tyrol in 1925 . The Tyrolean working group split off from the Tyrolean People's Party after the People's Party had pursued a strict financial and social policy in previous years. Under the leadership of Hans Gamper , who originally belonged to the Volksverein, the Christian workers split off and entered the state elections as a Tyrolean working group, where they immediately won three seats. The working group then gave political support to the Tyrolean People's Party in the ideological field. The development subsequently led to the establishment of the workers' union and the Christian-social working group and, after the Second World War, resulted in the establishment of the ÖAAB .
